Boldon’s family has found some solace in the fact that one of the individuals allegedly responsible for his untimely death has been apprehended in Los Angeles, California, according to the attorneys. The family continues to have questions regarding the incident and why the cab Boldon was driving exploded on impact.

According to an article published by CNN, Kenneth Cherry, an aspiring rapper known as Kenny Clutch, was driving his Maserati northbound on Las Vegas Boulevard around 4:20 a.m. the morning of the accident. He was shot in the arm and chest by someone driving a Range Rover. Cherry died later at the hospital.

After being shot, Cherry lost control of his vehicle and it continued into the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, CNN reports. The Maserati crashed into Boldon’s taxi, causing it to catch fire. Boldon died in the accident. A passenger in the taxi, who has been identified as Sandra Sutton-Wasmund, 48, was also killed in the crash, according to CNN.
