We are encouraged by the enthusiastic adoption of our ODR solution and how quickly our customers deploy it to support operational BI requirements with significant cost savings
Burlington, MA (Vocus) March 25, 2010
Attunity Ltd. (OTC BB: ATTUF.OB), a leading provider of real-time data integration and event capture software, announced today a new release of its Change Data Capture (CDC) and Operational Data Replication (ODR) software with support for SQL Server 2008 R2. The software is now generally available with the Attunity CDC Suite for SSIS and a free trial download is now available on the Attunity website.
A Microsoft SQL Server partner, Attunity is a leading independent provider of low-impact, log-based CDC technology that enables capturing and processing only the changes made to various enterprise data sources. In 2009, Attunity introduced the Attunity CDC Suite for SSIS, a line of operational data replication products fully integrated with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) that provides an end-to-end solution for replicating data between heterogeneous databases. With this new release, the Attunity CDC and ODR suite, certified with the latest CTP of SQL Server 2008 R2, can now capture and replicate changes made to the latest versions of SQL Server, supporting their fast adoption in the market.
Key highlights of Attunity SQL Server-CDC for SSIS include:
- Supports log-based CDC for SQL Server 2008/2005/2000, with no installation on the data server
- Supports many SQL Server editions (not limited to Enterprise Edition)
- Supports data replication into many heterogeneous target databases
- Fully integrated with SSIS and Business Intelligence Development Studio
- Provides management console to monitor and control end-to-end heterogeneous replication
“Attunity complements SQL Server very well in adding heterogeneous data replication capabilities and the integration of their products with SSIS makes them very easy to use,” said Derek Comingore, SQL Server MVP and founder of BI Voyage, a Microsoft Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing solutions provider. “Customers who need to replicate data from SQL Server 2008 will find the product a natural choice as it provides a seamless, unified, and consistent solution for change data capture needs over several mainstream enterprise data sources using SQL Server Integration Services.”
“We are encouraged by the enthusiastic adoption of our ODR solution and how quickly our customers deploy it to support operational BI requirements with significant cost savings,” stated Itamar Ankorion, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Attunity. “We continue to invest and extend our suite of ODR products in the large open-system database market in response to customer demand and look forward to continuing to serve the SQL Server community with innovative and affordable solutions.”
