Rehabmart.com, an online e-commerce company that sells rehabilitation and medical supplies, has joined into a distribution partnership with the H. Wilson Company to offer specialized carts and furniture for health and education to a larger consumer market. Bought by EBSCO Industries, Incorporated, in 1976, the H. Wilson Company is the premier manufacturer of utility carts, audio-visual (AV) carts, computer work stations, video tables, mobile cabinets, overhead projector tables, TV and speaker mounting systems, tripods and literature racks. Headquartered in Waukegan, Illinois, with warehousing and distribution facilities in both Waukegan and Birmingham, Alabama, H. Wilson serves world markets through leading AV dealers, library equipment distributors, microcomputer dealers, school equipment dealers and other specialty furniture channels of distribution, such as their distribution agreement with Rehabmart.com. They are strongly identified with their innovative plastic manufacturing technologies, and their steel manufacturing capabilities are unsurpassed. By utilizing Vulcan Industries, one of their sister EBSCO divisions, they are able to bring unique design, manufacturing and finishing facilities to both their steel and wire products.

The H. Wilson Company was founded in 1959 by visionary, Howard Wilson, who was working for the Radiant Screen Company at the time. Wilson found a particular affinity for the AV portion of his responsibilities with Radiant Screen and decided to open his own business in the AV market. This was back in the days before many schools had this kind of equipment, and Wilson pioneered the educational AV movement by inventing a Rear Projection Unit which allowed movies, filmstrips and slide programs to be viewed in a fully illuminated room, unheard of up to that point in time, and an invention widely embraced by the educational market. More achievements came to the H. Wilson Company as they became the first company to successfully apply the emerging technology of structural foam injection molding as an alternative for manufacturing mobile steel carts. As structural foam is practically indestructible, it made shipping disassembled products more practical and cost-effective, and helped establish their Tuffy® Table as a new standard for a new industry. To this day, H. Wilson remains the only company to manufacture AV carts in seven different colors.

The applications are endless for these products from the H. Wilson Company and they cater to the educational, healthcare, office, library and industrial furniture markets. They have become the worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of high quality specialty furniture that includes LCD carts, AV carts, utility carts, multimedia carts, presentation stations, visualizer workstations, computer workstations, equipment stands, literature displays, lecterns and mobile shelving. “We are proud to introduce these innovative and well-crafted specialty carts and furniture from the H. Wilson Company to more consumers,” said Hulet Smith, Founder and CEO of Rehabmart. “Whether you need equipment for work presentations, educational presentations or healthcare applications, our selections from the H. Wilson Company have got you covered for all of your specialty furniture needs.”
