Navy veteran Joel Goldberg, CEO of Aurico Reports Inc., is the 2012 recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Veteran-Owned Small Business award given by The SCORE Foundation, sponsored by Insperity. Under his leadership, the 21-year-old company has grown from 44 to 77 employees, rebranded itself, redesigned its client-facing technology platform and was named an Inc. 5000 company.
SCORE CEO Ken Yancey says, “The SCORE Awards celebrate and honor successful and innovative entrepreneurs who inspire us all and the small business advocates who support entrepreneurship in America.” Yancey adds, “As the economy works to recover from recession, these small business successes represent America’s success through innovation and job growth.”
Aurico will be honored for demonstrating unique vision, innovation and achievement at The SCORE Foundation’s annual award ceremony celebrating excellence on Thursday, August 16th in New Orleans, LA.
Mr. Goldberg and his team have worked hard to achieve this distinction. “We are proud to be recognized for our efforts and growth as a small business.” He also gives credit to the many other companies that Aurico competed against. “Of the hundreds of SCORE clients, our accomplishments made us stand out. Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting us and helping us succeed.”
