Austin Attorney Carl R. Barry Named Super Lawyer for Third Time

Carl R. Barry, a partner at the Barry Law Group, a practice of Austin personal injury attorneys, has been named to the Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers magazine for the third year in a row as a 2012 Super Lawyers Rising Star.

To be named on the Super Lawyers list, an attorney must have reached a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in one or more of his or her practice areas. Barry, an Austin car accident attorney, had previously been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers twice as well.

No more than 5 percent of lawyers in each state receive recognition on the Super Lawyers list each year.

“I’m proud of this distinction,” Barry said. “Of all the work that I’ve done, personal injury work has been the most fulfilling to me. I like that personal injury law enables me to help someone at the end of the day. Being named a Super Lawyer is a nice accolade for doing something meaningful to me.”

This isn’t the first recognition of Barry’s skills as an attorney. He’s been named to the Top 40 Under 40 Texas Trial Attorneys list by the National Trial Lawyers Association and has been inducted as a lifetime member into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
