Let us encourage them to let their lights shine where ever they go

In her exciting book of short stories “Kingdom Lifestyles for children”: Kingdom Lifestyles for successful Living” (published by Trafford Publishing), Marilyn Smith delivers a series of life lessons to help instill the importance of children treating others like how they would like to be treated, and making a conscious decision to make the right choices in their personal relationships with others--- generally loving people.
Kingdom Lifestyles for children is a collection of short stories designed to build strong, godly character in children. These stories teach such concepts as how to live in God’s kingdom and how to have a personal relationship with him, obeying his laws and much more. Marilyn believes that her book is must read for every child. She says that parents will reap the benefits of gradually seeing positive changes in their children’s behavior as they hear these stories.
An excerpt from “Kingdom Lifestyles for Children”:
“William who was a brilliant student walked up to the board and worked the sum out successfully and even offered to help anyone who needed help. After school that day Mark quietly asked William to show him how to do some work. William gladly helped him. This act of kindness changed how Mark treated William. He was now his friend. Sometimes in life, you may meet people who may not treat you fairly but you must do all you can to show God’s kindness to them. The bible teaches us to love people in spite of how they treat us.”
Smith hopes her book helps parents and children nurture strong family bonds. “I want readers to take away the fact that encouraging and emulating Godly character in our children is one of the best choices we as parents can make,” she says. “Let us encourage them to let their lights shine where ever they go.”
