The free online edition, for those without iPads and featuring slightly less content, is also available at http://autodefemag.com

On the first day, before ADF had even announced launch, the iPad app was being downloaded all over the world.

ADF is a publication for the inquisitive thinker and for those who are curious and concerned about the world around them. It's for those who enjoy asking questions as much as they like finding answers.

The magazine is also one of the few digital publications that is making a genuine effort to support and pay their contributors. With revenue sharing, prizes, print sales & crowd-funding, ADF magazine is becoming a sustainable platform for independent story-tellers.

Later this year Auto de Fe will publish their first limited edition printed issue and eventually four such printed issues per year will be available from the ADF website and certain shops.

Auto de Fe will be the first magazine of its kind which is completely cross-platform. It’s currently being developed & tested on Android, Kindle, Smartphone and Blackberry devices and will soon be available on those too.

The first issue of ADF features excellent reportage from Syria, Afghanistan, India and Nicaragua among other places. The cover story is a beautiful feature called "Origin" that resulted from a collaboration with NASA, ESA and the Hubble Heritage Foundation. The pictures allow you to grab your iPad and take a journey through space and time...

The ADF team are currently working hard producing an amazing second & third issue which features spectacular stories from around the world...
