New York, NY (PRWEB) October 26, 2010
Steven Victor MD CEO ReGen BioSciences, a company operating and marketing upscale Rejuvenation Centers that provides stem cell rejuvenation, adipose stem cell separation and aesthetic treatments, attended the IFATS meeting in Dallas, Texas Oct 22-24. The meeting was focused on the use of autologous fat and adipose regenerative stem cells for use in numerous medical treatments.
"This was one of the most exciting meetings on Autologous Fat and Adipose derived stromal vascular fraction i.e., adipose regenerative stem cells, that I have attended this year," states Dr Steven Victor. The meeting was attended by doctors from around the world as well as scientist and medical researchers. The theme of the meeting articulated that Adipose Regenerative Stem Cells are going to be an important modality in the treatment of aesthetic issues and well as medical conditions such as osteoarthritis, congestive heart failure, wounds, ulcers, diabetes and autism.
There is extensive ongoing research and clinical trials conducted all over the world that relates specifically to autologous fat and adipose regenerative stem cells.
“There is not a meeting in the field of cosmetic surgery and rejuvenation that does not feature the use of adipose regenerative stem cells today. We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg and I look forward to exciting new breakthroughs in the use of these cells,” stated Dr Steven Victor.
ReGen BioSciences is in the process of establishing adipose tissue processing centers center throughout the United States to allow physicians, scientists and researchers to be involved in this exciting frontier of medicine.
About ReGen BioSciences:
ReGen BioSciences Inc. is a company founded on two converging and symbiotic trends. The first trend is one of the most exciting frontiers in medicine which are the possibilities concerning the clinical utility of adult (as opposed to embryonic) adipose (fat) stem cells.
Theoretically, adult adipose stem cells have the potential to restore beauty, heal damaged tissues, and to treat and possibly improve some diseases. (http://www.VetStem.com, http://www.Cytori.com , Reference Exhibit)
Recently, new techniques have been discovered that enable stem cells to be extracted from your own fat tissue, also known as adipose tissue. On April 1, 2009 the FDA issued a ruling (Title 21, Chapter I, Subchapter L, Part 1271, Sec 1271.10) which effectively allowed for the autologous (returning one’s own cells to the same person from which they were extracted) use of stem cells, so long as they are only minimally manipulated. ReGen BioSciences plans to be the first company to offer the physician’s office the expertise to withdraw autologous, adipose derived stem cells.
