It is a shame that innocent children are being forced into such an unfortunate situation
Huntington Beach (Vocus) May 11, 2010
Francisco's Automotive Repair in Huntington Beach continues its aggressive approach to giving to those who need it the most. Francisco’s has recently donated a large amount of new shoes and new items of clothing apparel to the Eli Home. The Eli Home specializes in the comfort and care of women and children who are victims of abuse and neglect.
“It is a shame that innocent children are being forced into such an unfortunate situation,” exclaims Francisco’s CEO Leah Garza. President of Francisco’s Automotive, Francisco Fonseca, goes on to note that this winter has been particularly long and cold, especially for Southern California. “It gives us a good feeling knowing that we are able to put clothes on the backs of needy children in times like these,” adds Francisco.
After several rounds of charitable donations to various organizations, Francisco’s Automotive reached out to other local business owners, asking them to become active participants in helping others who are less fortunate.
John Pascal of Chapman Car Care in Orange has accepted the challenge set forth by Francisco and his team. Chapman Car Care is donating a used truck, also to the Eli Home. They will also continue to perform the necessary routine maintenance in order to keep they vehicle in good operating condition.
Owner Bruce Powers, of Autowerkes in Huntington Beach, has also stepped up to the plate, donating various goods and services to Colette’s Children’s Home, a local shelter for single mothers and their children who have nowhere else to turn.
Francisco’s Automotive, as well as the organizations involved would like to send out a huge “Thank You” to Chapman Car Care and Autowerkes for joining the fight to provide to others, the things many of us often take for granted. As these generous businesses and their owners continue to selflessly give to those in need, they urge any other local business to rise to the occasion and further strengthen the team of local businesses giving back to the local communities around Orange County.
If anyone would like to inquire about the organizations most in need of donations, or the services and items needed, feel free to contact Leah Garza or Francisco Fonseca of Francisco’s Automotive at 714-375-2661. “We would love to be made aware of those joining our campaign and our happy to offer our assistance in pointing you in the right direction,” says Francisco.
Francisco’s Automotive has been servicing the Huntington Beach and surrounding Orange County area for well over 20 years. Contact information and information regarding automotive repair services can be found online at http://www.franciscosautorepair.com.
