Denver (Vocus) June 4, 2010
The American Water Works Association (AWWA) today announced its featured selections for the New Product Technology Showcase at the 2010 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE10), June 20-23 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
From technologies that improve disinfection to innovative leak detectors to state-of-the-art fire hydrants, the New Product Technology Showcase will display cutting-edge technologies designed to help water professionals provide a safe, secure and efficient water supply. Although many new products help fulfill this goal, AWWA’s Manufacturers/Associates Council (MAC) selected eight ground-breaking technologies based on industry demand.
“The New Product Technology Showcase is a great part of the ACE10 exhibit floor,” said MAC Chair Ronald Port. “It gives companies the opportunity to showcase their new products and gives attendees one concentrated location to see and experience the newest technologies serving our industry.”
The companies selected to present their new products include ADS LLC; ICS, Blount Inc.; Industrial Test Systems, Inc.; McGard, Inc.; Oasis Filter International Ltd.; Sigelock Systems LLC; SolarBee, Inc.; and Technical Associates.
The New Product Technology Showcase is part of the larger exposition at which more than 500 companies and organizations will display products from all aspects of the water industry. At the exposition, vendors will be available to answer questions, distribute literature, and in some cases, provide hands-on demonstrations of their products.
ACE10 gives its more than 12,000 attending water professionals a chance to network and stay abreast of innovative technology and best practices for providing safe water. To facilitate professional development, AWWA offers two exhibit hall education sessions, six in-depth Sunday workshops and 92 professional sessions.
Attendees can view the New Product Showcase during normal exhibition hours. However, special demonstrations and talks will be held on:
Sunday, June 20 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Monday, June 21 10:00 a.m.–noon
Tuesday, June 22 3:00–4:30 p.m.
