University of Otago has selected award winning IT Service Management (ITSM) software assyst by Axios Systems for enhanced Service Delivery to students and staff, as part of their commitment to a long term IT Improvement Strategy.
The University, founded in 1869, is New Zealand’s oldest university. The University has approximately 21,000 students and offers a variety of education courses.
The Information Technology Services (ITS) team is responsible for the provision, maintenance, and support of information and communication technologies within the University of Otago community. The team has selected assyst with a view to initially implement Incident and Service Requests, replacing BMC’s Remedy solution, and plan to then implement the highly regarded assyst Service Catalogue in 2014.
Focus On Business, the assyst partner located in New Zealand, established the business deal with Otago, and will provide implementation services to the University from October 2013.
