This 2-day course provides students with hands-on experience preparing and using pindas in groups of two. Pindas are prepared from rice and herbs wrapped in cotton fabric and soaked in medicated herbal decoctions. Pinda Svedana is a deeply therapeutic site specific localized heat and massage application through the gentle to moderate pressure of the herbal bolus. The practice of Pinda Svedana is an important modality to alleviate joint and muscle pain. Program will be offered Aug 1-3, 2014 in Nevada City, California.
