Back Roads Entertainment, a creative production and entertainment company, looks toward a momentous 2013 on the heels of a successful company launch in 2012. As the entertainment industry balances the evolving needs of networks, brands and audiences, Back Roads Entertainment powers ahead with a growing portfolio of forward-looking creative productions and shows concepts.

“In 2012 our team developed a broad and diverse slate of projects both in original entertainment and with our brand and agency partners,” said Colby Gaines, Back Roads Executive Producer and Founder. “This year, the entertainment production industry will continue to see a growing influence in content development by brand marketers and audience consumption habits. With that in mind, we’re creating new opportunities and developing out-of-the-box projects in comedic reality TV, product-centric entertainment, digital content, and general entertainment. In 2012 Back Roads Entertainment debuted “My Flipp’n Brother” on A&E. “My Flipp’n Brother” follows the antics of brothers Randy and Ronnie Florke as they purchase, renovate, and flip homes in Upstate New York. The show concept is a sampling of the Back Roads reality TV humor palette and brings a fresh take to the home renovation category. In addition to the “My Flipp’n Brother” debut, Back Roads is in development with several premier networks including TLC, Destination America, Animal Planet, and CMT, among others. In the online realm, the company will continue to grow its offerings with best in breed partners to produce a variety of content packages, while the entertainment personality line-up includes partnerships with popular celebrity chef and restaurateur Mario Batali; actor, comedian, and writer Marlon Wayans; and iconic actress and cultural bon vivant Isabella Rosselini.
