Backyard Travel, Asia’s most innovative tailor-made tour company, has today released news of new discounts for three of their trips to majestic Myanmar. The discounts will apply to Backyard Travel’s ‘A Tale of Two Cities: Mandalay to Bagan’ tour, the ‘Mrauk U: The Hidden City’ trip and their ‘Family Fun in Myanmar’ excursion, allowing travelers to enjoy the bespoke packages at a special price.

The ‘Mrauk U: The Hidden City’ trip is the first tour to be made available at a discounted rate, and the four-day, three-night package is currently available with 10%-off the regular package price. The tailor-made tour takes travelers through the magical Myanmar countryside to discover Mrauk U and learn why the 15th century capital is considered one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia. The tour also includes time in Sittwe, allowing travelers to explore the capital of the Rakhine State.

Backyard Travel’s bespoke four-day, three-night ‘A Tale of Two Cities: Mandalay to Bagan’ tour is also on sale with a 10% discount when taken between now and September 30, 2013. The package takes travelers to investiagate two of the most fascinating and beautiful cities of Myanmar, Mandalay and Bagan, traveling by bicycle, by boat and on foot seeing parts of the city that are often missed. Travelers will also spend time soaking up the sites of Monywa which hosts the tallest Buddha image in the world, as well as experiencing the famous ‘Slipper’ village of Pakkoku.

The third discounted tour, ‘Family Fun in Myanmar’, set over eight-days, seven-nights, takes in the key destinations of the fascinating nation and is available with a 15% discount. The family tour enables visitors to experience the main sites of Yangon, Bagan and Inle Lake.
