When looking to connect with vacation rentals and lodging choices, the Balboa Island visitor now has a central hub from which to research information. The recently launched Balboa Island Rental Marketplace is now adding select properties to share with visitors planning to visit the island.

For homeowners and agencies looking to rent properties, the Balboa Island Rental Marketplace is not only attractive because it’s a new source for rentals, but because it’s price competitive compared to other services. For the visitor, the Marketplace provides a complimentary one-stop shop for access to information.

“We charge a small flat fee for listing properties with no up sells,” Blake Bookstaff, owner of the site, said.

Homeowners can pay to use this service monthly and are not required to be locked into a contract.

“Unlike generic rental sites out there, our focus is sharing Balboa Island with potential visitors,” Kelly Daniel, who is in charge of client relationships, said. “Visitors to the site just happen to need a place to stay once they have decided to visit Balboa.”

To help visitors make their decision to visit Balboa Island, the site offers weekly blogs, an events calendar, weather forecasts, and additional useful information pertinent to trip planning.

A mobile application can also provide visitors with more information about Balboa Island and the ability to research Balboa Island rentals. The Balboa Island app can be added to iPhone and on any DROID powered device free of charge by simply searching either marketplace for “Balboa Island.”
