Not only does this show how fortunate Ball Office Products has been with its success, but it also shows that small, local businesses in Central Virginia are really flourishing.
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) May 04, 2012
Richmond-based Ball Office Products, a 12-year-old office supply and furniture company owned by Melissa and Jonathan Ball, was chosen by the administration of Governor Bob McDonnell to be the backdrop for an important address by the Governor preceding the President’s visit to Richmond on Saturday. The press conference will begin at 11am at Ball Office Products’ new headquarters, 2100 Westmoreland Street, Richmond, VA 23230. In addition to the Governor, Lt. Governor Bill Bolling and Delegate Barbara Comstock (R-McLean) will address a group of business and political leaders at the former Circuit City building in the West End of Richmond.
“Jonathan and I were delighted to receive a call from the Governor’s office asking us to host the event,” says Melissa Ball, President of Ball Office Products. “Not only does this show how fortunate Ball Office Products has been with its success, but it also shows that small, local businesses in Central Virginia are really flourishing.”
Ball Office Products recently celebrated its 12th year of providing quality office products and furniture to businesses and organizations throughout Central Virginia. A SWaM (Small Women and Minority Owned Business) and WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) certified company, Ball Office Products has seen double digit growth in sales in recent years – a factor that ultimately led to their expansion into the new facility. Though the building is still under renovation and will not be in use until the summer, attendees of this morning’s press conference will get a first look at what is to come for Ball.
