Birmingham based web design agency Ballyhoo Ltd have released the latest version of the Ballyhoo Commerce e-commerce system. Version 1.9.19 introduces a number of new features including the ability to save orders, more detailed order statuses and an integration with the PriceRunner price comparison engine.

Ballyhoo Commerce is a lightweight e-commerce system designed to help small businesses make the most of selling online with minimal training and technical knowledge. The e-commerce system, dubbed Ballyhoo Commerce due to its mission to effortlessly promote products, was conceived in 2005 by Anthony Chaffey, now owner of Birmingham web design agency Ballyhoo Ltd.

A major new feature of the system is the ability to allow users to save their shopping baskets for later. An integration with leading shopping comparison site PriceRunner has now been developed to complement existing integrations with other price comparison engines including Google Products and Shopzilla, further expanding the channels through which the vendor's products can be discovered.
