Baltimore, Maryland (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
Royal Razor, a new multicultural barbershop brand in downtown Baltimore, has garnered heavy interest since its launch in August 2012 due to its financial success and positive community impact to a redeveloping downtown Baltimore.
Despite only being open for business for four short months, Baltimore City Hall sites Royal Razor Barbershop as a positive business example for new entrepreneurs to emulate. On Saturday, December 15, 2012, Nicholas Cassadine, founder of Royal Razor Barbershop, hosted a meet and greet with City Hall representatives including Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake.
Because of the success of Royal Razor Barbershop, Mayor Rawlings-Blake chose it as a venue to promote the city’s new micro-loan initiative, BaltimoreMICRO. BaltimoreMICRO, will offer $5,000-$30,000 loans to qualifying businesses for the acquisition of commercial property, rehabilitation of existing buildings, leasehold improvements, equipment purchases and other costs associated with operating a small business.
Royal Razor originated when Director of Business Development/Founder, Nicholas Cassadine could not find any barber shops, in Baltimore, that catered to young, black and Hispanic professionals with organized service and standards for quality control and hygiene. The military veteran and minority entrepreneur then decided to create a multicultural barbershop focused on providing a quality experience with professionally licensed staff, an organized business system and cool atmosphere. Royal Razor Barbershop is a multicultural barbershop capable of providing grooming services for all hair types.
