Bands For Freedom Foundation, Inc. today announced that it has gained the support of well-known country music celebrities Darryl Worley, Chris Young, and Storme Warren (GAC) in its efforts to raise funds for Stars for Stripes Foundation and the Armed Forces Relief Trust (AFRT). Funds donated to these organizations benefit the men and women of the U.S. military and their families.

The three celebrities added their names to the Bands For Freedom celebrities page an online list of supporters for the U.S. troops via the Bands For Freedom Foundation, Stars for Stripes and the AFRT. Worley, whose "Have You Forgotten" song became the post-9/11 anthem for many Americans. Worley's music and country-boy image have helped him to take a prominent place in the world of country music. He has long been a major supporter of the troops and has toured with Stars for Stripes Foundation to Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, Korea and Kuwait. Worley recently joined the AFRT, Stars for Stripes and Bands For Freedom in their efforts to show Americans how easy it is to contribute to the well being of a soldier and his/her family.

Chris Young has made two visit to entertain U.S. troops stationed overseas, as part of past Stars For Stripes tours. Young recently performed this past April in Iraq and Kuwait for service members stationed there.

Young and his full band performed 5 concerts at 5 camps throughout Iraq and Kuwait, he also offered special acoustic sets at various remote FOBs (Forward Operating Base) for troops who seldom receive celebrity entertainment. Chris collected iTunes gift cards with the help of his amazing fans prior to his recent trip and gave them out to many service members during his tour over seas.

Storme Warren (GAC) is a big supporter of Stars for Stripes and our troops, and also shows his support wearing a Band for Freedom wristband.
