When building our online service, we had several main goals, customer security, customer support and pricing. Belfast, United Kingdom (PRWEB) March 28, 2007
Two former bank employees in Belfast today announced the launch of Aventure Bank, a dedicated website and recovery service for bank consumers in the United Kingdom, in the battle to recover unlawful bank charges.
The new website provides a standard service costing £24.99, and allows a customer to deal directly with their bank by forwarding pre-typed letters in pre-paid envelopes found in a welcome page posted on signup. If the customer is then unable to recover their charges through direct communication, Aventure Bank will work on the customer's behalf in the attempt to recover the charges on the customer's behalf.
The United Kingdom has seen dozens of similar companies created over the past 12 months due to recent media coverage on the true cost of bank charges, however Aventure Bank has been different in its pricing policy, by only charging a one time fee of £24.99 and without taking a percentage share of the recovered funds. The true cost of the service ensures that customers recover the money they are owed, and only pay for the true administration time covered, knowing they won't suffer a percentage loss.
"When building our online service, we had several main goals, customer security, customer support and pricing. With these goals in mind we have built a system which operates without ever knowing customers bank details, instead basing all third party communications on letter reference numbers where applicable," said Richard Kennedy, Operations Manager of Aventure Media. "With security concerns addressed, we had to ensure that we could provide a high level of customer support, and with this we launched our 24 hour helpdesk, where customers can track the status of their claim, once it has been passed back to us, if direct communication originally failed."
With estimations showing that banks make over 3 Billion pounds in unlawful charges, and the top 5 banks due to announce that they made a combined profits of £38 Billion in the past year these former bank employees are lending a hand to the average consumer in recovering their money.
