Gumbiner Savett’s Barbara Rosenbaum Becomes President of Large Education Foundation for Accountants

After many years of service to CalCPA’s Education Foundation, Barbara Rosenbaum of Gumbiner Savett Inc., has been elected as their president. Michael Savoy, managing director of Gumbiner Savett Inc. responded by saying “We are so proud of Barbara and all of her efforts in the advancement of California CPAs through education.” As president, Barbara’s vision is for the foundation to be "the leading provider of continuing professional education for CPAs and financial professionals."

“I look forward to my new position as President,” Rosenbaum said. “We have the ear of a huge and growing audience. I hope to continue the foundation’s excellent work and give members knowledge and value with our programs.”

Barbara Rosenbaum enters her new position with 30 years of CPA experience. Rosenbaum specializes in providing wealthy families and their businesses assistance with their financial goals with specific emphasis on their tax situations. Aside from her membership with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and her leadership role with the Ed Foundation, Rosenbaum is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Business Peer Group and a member of the Los Angeles Women's Leadership Council.

Through her commitment to education, Barbara is also on the Los Angeles Advisory Board of Golden Gate University School of Tax and is a Trustee of The Mirman School for Gifted Children.
