US Sports Camps' Nike Basketball Camp returns to Whitfield School in St. Louis Mo. from July 4-8 and from July 18-22, directed by Blake Ahearn. Ahearn was inducted February 13, 2016 to the MSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
To be considered for induction, nominees must have participated in athletics and must demonstrate great athletic ability, high-level sportsmanship, and good character. Personal accomplishments, leadership, community service, and career achievements are also evaluated.
During his four years on the Bears basketball team, Ahearn set the NCAA record for free-throw percentage in a season with 97.5% and for a career with 94.6%, and is also 7th on MSU’s all-time scoring list with 1,677 points. His dedication and perseverance have helped him become one of the greatest free-throw shooters in NCAA history and is second to John Wooden for the most consecutive free-throws made.
