Bethlehem, PA (PRWEB) August 31, 2012
The B. Braun OEM Division (http://www.bbraunoem.com) of B. Braun Medical Inc. – an FDA-registered, ISO 13485 provider of contract manufacturing services and components for medical devices and custom procedure kits – has developed a normally closed low-pressure back check valve with female Luer lock threads.
The normally closed valve handles a back pressure of 30 psi of water and has an average flow rate of 445mL/min at 1 meter head height, making it an ideal design for high flow applications.
Manufactured from ABS material, the valve is compatible with gamma and EtO sterilization processes. It does not contain DEHP or natural rubber.
It is the newest member of B. Braun’s extensive portfolio of valves that are available as stand-alone components or as part of a custom set or device.
