Using the MIDI interface provides broad opportunities for Beamz products to be used with many unique music making and entertainment applications
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) January 08, 2013
Beamz Interactive, Inc. (OTCQB: BZIC), an interactive music product and technology company, today announced that its product roadmap will include MIDI communication capabilities for its new Beamz laser controllers to interact with applications on tablet computing devices. The technology will be demonstrated at the CES 2013 at the Beamz Interactive booth #21921 with one of the new Beamz laser controllers that will be available in second half of 2013. The designs of the new Beamz laser controllers are smaller than the current products so they are best suited for consumers to use with tablet products. The smaller designs will also significantly reduce the footprint of the retail packaging which will provide retailers new merchandising placement opportunities for the Beamz product line into new product categories.
“Using the MIDI interface provides broad opportunities for Beamz products to be used with many unique music making and entertainment applications,” said Al Ingallinera, Jr., Vice President of Product Management for Beamz Interactive. “Playing with light will provide a fun new dimension for consumers to enjoy with their tablet devices. We look forward to collaborating with content providers and application developers to deliver compelling entertainment experiences using our interactive laser controllers.”
Pricing for the new Beamz laser controller products will be announced when the products are available in the second half of 2013.
