Our interactive music is already setup to sound great so it's really about being imaginative and bringing attention to the fun of the product.
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) November 08, 2012
Beamz Interactive, Inc. (OTCQB: BZIC), an interactive music product and technology company, today announced the extension of the submission date for their Beamz Player Performance Video Contest. Video performances will now be accepted up until 11:59 PM MST, November 28th, 2012. Contestants submit video performances using the Beamz music product with a range of designated Beamz interactive songs, providing an opportunity to win a grand-prize of five thousand dollars cash, a second place prize of one thousand dollars, or third place prize of five hundred dollars. All top ten finalists get Wicked Audio Headphones and personalized gifts from Beamz Interactive artist judges. The artist judges include David Ellefson of Megadeth, the chart topping saxophonist Euge Groove, the legendary guitarist Craig Chaquico and Jerry Riopelle, the inventor of the Beamz.
“We’re extending the date for a couple of reasons.” Beamz Interactive CEO, Charlie Mollo remarked, “First, we know that many of our customers on the east coast have been affected by Superstorm Sandy, and we really want to be mindful of that and give them a chance to get back on their feet.” Mollo went on to say, “Additionally, we’ve had some folks tell us that the long Thanksgiving weekend creates a great opportunity for multi-generational family involvement. That’s a great idea, and fundamentally that is exactly what Beamz is all about—we’re about people of all ages and abilities interacting with music and having fun.”
Beamz Interactive, Inc. will announce the top ten finalists on December 4th, 2012 and instructions for on-line voting will be given at that time. Public voting will then run from December 5th, 2012 through December 15th, 2012 and the winners will be announced on December 18th, 2012.
“Extending the contest deadline does so much for contestants,” said Al Ingallinera Jr., Vice President of Product Management. “We've had many consumers and musicians inquire about how to film a Beamz performance. Our interactive music is already setup to sound great so it's really about being imaginative and bringing attention to the fun of the product. Just in case people get stuck, we’re posting some tips and ideas to the Beamz Contest web page to spark creativity.” Ingallinera added, “Another cool aspect of the extension is that the Limited Edition David Ellefson Beamz Player is now bundled with original music that David Ellefson made for his fans to experience with our product. Another bonus - David Ellefson’s agreed to partner with Beamz in sending an autographed copy of the Beamz Metal Factory interactive album to every contestant that uses his music content in the contest.”
