I am honored to have been selected as a top 40 under 40 trainer. I consider training teams around the world to be my partners, helping me to stretch and grow and implement the next strategy to take training further.
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
Becky Pluth, The Bob Pike Group vice president of training and development, was named one of Training Magazine's Top Young Trainers for 2012. This award recognizes the top 40 training professionals age 40 and under. Each of these trainers will be profiled in the May/June 2012 issue of Training and will be honored at next year's Training conference.
The Top Young Trainer awards program highlights emerging young leaders in the training industry; each recipient was nominated by a co-worker or industry peer. Pluth was one of 40 honorees out of a nomination field of 125. The judging was based on demonstrated leadership skills, technical competence, career progression in an accelerated time frame, the solution to a learning and development challenge and the business results it achieved, the development of an innovative training solution/program, ability to consistently produce training results, and demonstrated ability to design training programs that are strategically aligned with the business.
Judges included those in the training industry from such companies as KLA-Tencor Corporation, Center for Learning and Development, Microsoft Corporation, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Disney Institute.
"The Top Young Trainer nominations we received this year were impressive," says Lorri Freifeld, editor-in-chief, Training magazine. "The 2012 winners are strong, results-oriented performers who have excellent teambuilding and change management skills and the ability to inspire those around them. Congratulations to the 2012 Top Young Trainers, and thanks to all the nominators for their time and effort in recognizing emerging leaders in the training industry."
"I am honored to have been selected as a top 40 under 40 trainer," Pluth said. "I consider training teams around the world to be my partners, helping me to stretch and grow and implement the next strategy to take training further. To each of you who have been in my shoes working diligently to make a difference through instructor-led, participant-centered training, I say, 'Cheers and thank you very much!'"
