Since bedwetting alarms aren't found in stores, this exhibition gives us the perfect opportunity to show healthcare providers the latest and best bedwetting products and how they work.

America’s largest distributor of enuresis products, the Bedwetting Store, will soon be offering two new childhood wetting treatments, which include a bedwetting alarm and a vibrating reminder watch, for medical professionals looking for an effective solution for enuresis in children.

The company, first established in 2000, will be presenting the new Dry-Me bedwetting alarm and the VibraLITE Mini vibrating watch at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) National Conference and Exhibition (NCE) from Oct. 20-22 (booth 1225) in New Orleans.

“Our goal is to provide the most effective treatments for the millions of children who wet the bed at night or experience daytime wetting,” said Renee Mercer, pediatric nurse practitioner and president of the Bedwetting Store. “Since bedwetting alarms aren’t found in stores, this exhibition gives us the perfect opportunity to show healthcare providers the latest and best bedwetting products and how they work.”

Children usually grow out of bedwetting, or nocturnal enuresis, but approximately 20 percent of children ages 5 and up still wake up to a wet bed. Most medical professionals recommend enuresis alarms as a bedwetting treatment because they have a 75 percent success rate, higher than any other bedwetting therapy. Alarms sound when they sense wetness, which will train children to recognize that their bladder is full.

For those experiencing daytime wetting, vibrating watches provide a discreet reminder for children to empty their bladder on a regular schedule, also known as timed voiding.

“The new and improved unisex Dry-Me alarm features eight unique, random tones to wake even the deepest sleeper. The VibraLITE Mini watch adds to our collection of child-size vibrating watches for those with smaller wrists,” Mercer said. “We expect that these new products will become popular with our customers."

Some other products that will be on display at the exhibit include: the Malem Ultimate bedwetting alarm, an international bestseller, and the Rodger Watch, one of the smallest children’s vibrating watches available.

“Alarms and watches are easy to use and are cheaper alternatives to constantly washing sheets or purchasing disposable underwear,” Mercer said. “They also restore confidence in children and provide them and their parents a peace of mind.”

The Bedwetting Store is America's one-stop shop for bedwetting items and waterproof bedding. They have helped tens of thousands of children—and adults—since their start in 2000. They are now the largest distributor of enuresis related products in the United States. The Bedwetting Store is proud to serve the millions of families who seek information and practical solutions to help children stop wetting. They feature a wide assortment of quality products at discounted prices. You'll find their information at your child's pediatrician's office, in many popular parents’ magazines and on the Web, of course. Just ask your child's health care provider about the Bedwetting Store. If they specialize in treating childhood wetting, they'll likely recommend one of their products.
