Brett Battina has been named the new president of Beltmann Relocation Group’s Moving & Storage Division. As of January 1, 2010, Brett reports to Marc Van Kley, the chief operating officer of Beltmann Relocation Group, and is responsible for overseeing sales and operations for Beltmann Relocation Group’s fourteen moving and storage operations nationwide as well as Beltmann’s commercial relocation group. Brett’s promotion comes in the wake of his success developing the company’s Phoenix, Arizona operation, and his recent achievements launching the company’s start-up in Northern California.

Son of Owner Dann Battina, Brett is a Minnesota native who formally joined Beltmann Relocation Group in 1996 at the Minneapolis headquarters as part of a management training program. In 1997, Brett was selected to establish a moving and storage operation in Phoenix. In 2000, he was promoted to regional vice president to provide direction for the company’s national initiatives. Brett received a BA in Communication and Business and an MBA from Arizona State University in 1996 and 2004, respectively. Brett has maintained a Certified Relocation Professional designation since 2002 and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
