In 2009, Tina Paparone and Angela Giovine, sisters from Yardley, PA, launched the children's gift company BeMe, LLC to create unique gifts that better represent and inspire modern girls.

BeMe's first product, the BeMe Box, delivers a long-awaited update to traditional musical jewelry boxes. While the majority of children's jewelry boxes are limited to old-fashioned, stereotypical ballerina and fairy themes, BeMe Boxes are designed with a variety of themes that better represent and celebrate the diverse interests of girls today.

BeMe Box themes are based on hobbies and activities popular with girls today. Right now, BeMe is featuring five lines:

BeCheerin' Box (Cheerleading themed)
BeJiggin' Box (Irish Dance themed)
BeKickin' Box (Soccer themed)
BeDancin' Box (Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, & Hip Hop themed)
BeBattin' Box (Softball themed)

Each box is designed by Angela & Tina, featuring a hand-painted look, unique song, and figurine for each activity. For instance, BeJiggin' plays "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" and BeBattin' plays "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." BeMe Boxes retail for $35, including free personalization, and will be available at select retailers, online, and at various vendor locations throughout the upcoming holiday season.

Growing up in Yardley, PA; Tina Paparone, 24, and Angela Giovine, 27, have always embraced their individuality by participating in a variety of activities. Both sisters attended Fordham University in New York City for bachelors and masters degrees in business. While attending Fordham, Angela gained recognition for founding the dance company Expressions Dance Alliance. For both sisters, exploring their own unique personalities played an important role in paving the road to entrepreneurship.
