The Best of Kosher awards will give everyone a chance to showcase their favorite kosher brands and products and encourage even more creativity and innovation in the world of Jewish food.

Joy of Kosher with Jamie Geller, the world’s largest Jewish food community, announced the launch of the first annual Best of Kosher awards, an online contest recognizing the best of kosher in ten exciting categories, as voted by visitors to JoyofKosher.com.

Beginning Monday, December 5th through January 11th, visitors to JoyofKosher.com can nominate any eligible company or brand and vote for their favorite nominee in up to ten categories, including: Best Kosher Restaurant, Best Kosher Chef, Best New Kosher Cookbook, Best New Kosher Product, Best Passover Resort, Best Kosher Catering Company, Best Kosher B&B/Hotel, Best Kosher Blog, Best Kosher Supermarket, and Best Kosher Winery.

Winners will be announced online on February 1, 2012 and in the February issue of Joy of Kosher with Jamie Geller, a popular bi-monthly print magazine featuring exclusive kosher recipes, scrumptious food photos, inspiring entertaining ideas and interviews with leading kosher chefs and Jewish cookbook authors.

Juices, cereals, yogurts, soft drinks, rice, pasta and beans are commonly found in stores nationwide with reliable kosher certification. Consumers who strictly observe the Jewish dietary laws require special certification on all products they bring into their home and only eat at dining establishments that are under rabbinical supervision.
