The launch of the inaugural 2011 Best Employers in Hospitality Awards UAE comes at a time when employers are recognising the need for an increased emphasis on the importance of retaining talent.

Open to all hospitality employers in United Arab Emirates with 12 employees and above, the awards are free to enter. Employers have up until 30th September 2011 to enter and qualify.
Entrants are sent a bespoke online employee engagement tool, provided by learnpurple, to forward to their employees. Employees use the tool to answer a series of work related questions which provide a ranking, determining category winners and the best overall employer in hospitality in United Arab Emirates.
The awards, which will culminate in a prestigious awards ceremony to be held in Dubai in November 2011, will see category awards for the “Best 4 Star Hotel Employer”, “Best 5 Star Hotel Employer”, and “Best Restaurant Employer.”
Additionally, there will be a “Best Hotel Group Employer” category which will be based on a consolidated score from individual hotel entries belonging to the same parent group.
The top accolade of Best Employer in Hospitality 2011 UAE will go to the overall winner across all categories.
