H&A Architects & Engineers has been named the Best Multidiscipline A/E Services Firm to Work For in the nation by ZweigWhite for the second year in a row.
“While management does what it can to facilitate a good working environment, at the end of the day, it’s all of the staff that really make it that way,” said H&A President and CEO, Mike Matthews, PE. “In addition to the Best Firms To Work For award, we won first place awards for Recruiting and Retention and for Best Employee Recognition Program.”
The multidiscipline category was introduced just last year and H&A has taken the top honor both times. The ranking is based on top workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates and an independent staff survey.
“We are a team that celebrates the good times and push to work through the seemingly stressful ones,” says Human Resources Manager, Patti Beasley, PHR. “H&A Architects & Engineers provides the foundation to enhance our culture, whether it be health insurance, recognition programs, or employee events. Leadership listens and demonstrates concern by supporting those programs that are meaningful to all.”
H&A Architects & Engineers is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company ranked on Engineering News-Record’s 2010 Top 500 Design Firms List and is ZweigWhite’s 2009 & 2010 Best A/E Multidiscipline Firm to Work For. The firm is headquartered in Richmond, VA with offices in Virginia Beach and San Diego, offering design, architecture, urban planning and engineering services to both the public and private sectors.
