Our mission is and has always been 100% satisfaction. Winning this award means we are meeting that mission and impressing our neighbors, family and friends with our products and service.

Thompson Creek Window Company, the mid-Atlantic’s leading home improvement replacement products company, today announced it has been honored with the “Best Windows and Doors” award from the Capital-Gazette’s annual Readers Choice Best of 2012 Awards. The Readers Choice Awards poll the publication’s readers to find their choice of the best of the best in over 100 categories in the Annapolis area. Categories range from best bakery to best family doctor – to best windows and doors. Winners were announced in the publication’s May issue.

Capital-Gazette Newspapers polls their readers, and thousands of votes were cast through their website, http://www.capitalgazette.com as well as through the U.S. Mail.

This award is a special honor for Thompson Creek because the company was founded by the Wuest family on West Street in Annapolis in 1980. The company has grown from its beginning on West Street to become the 8th largest home improvement contractor in the United States, based upon the latest survey from Qualified Remodeler magazine.

Thompson Creek Window Company’s president, Rick Wuest, said, “We are proud to be the recipient of this reader-based award. We always say that we are not just a home improvement company; we are our clients’ neighbors, family and friends. Our mission is and has always been 100% satisfaction. Winning this award means we are meeting that mission and impressing our neighbors, family and friends with our products and service. We look forward to continuing to provide everyone with the best windows and doors and the best service in the area.”
