Bevintel will be a regular, featured consultant to bars and restaurants across the country as part of Spike TV’s new series “Bar Rescue,” a new show that gives failing bars and restaurants one last chance at success.

Bevintel, the leading profit control and revenue enhancement service for the beverage industry will be introduced as part of the 10-episode show starting on Sunday, July 24 at 10:00 PM. During that episode, Bevintel helps reduce the loss of thousands of dollars worth of liquor at Philadelphia’s Downey's Irish Pub & Restaurant.

“We’re excited to be a part of helping these bar and restaurant operators stop liquor loss and save money by helping them see and understand this critical area of their business,” said Bevintel CEO Dan Smith. “We were able to help these bars and restaurants identify and correct the liquor and beer inventory issues that can lead to disaster for even well-run operations.”

The National Restaurant Association says that America’s bars and restaurant lose $11 billion every year from spilled or stolen liquor. In Bevintel’s premier episode, the company helps Downey’s over the course of three nights alone track more than $1,700 in missing liquor – which over a year could save the struggling restaurant more than $200,000 in lost liquor.

Bevintel was asked to be a part of the new series as a provider of unrivaled inventory and profit enhancement systems. Utilizing its cutting-edge beverage quality and monitoring services Bevintel was able to immediately show the bars and restaurants astounding differences between what they poured and what they sold. Bevintel’s products and additional services will be a regular part of the show’s efforts to help failing bars and restaurants across the country. In cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston, Jon Taffer, one of the country’s top restaurant and bar consultants, delves into every facet of running a bar, from creating a profitable menu, to music selection, to managing crowds, and introduces Bevintel as an inventory and quality solution.

Bevintel donated its quality and inventory monitoring solutions to several of the bars featured on “Bar Rescue.” Additional Bevintel solutions to be featured in upcoming episodes include InteliTap, the company’s draught beverage flow monitoring system used by quality and efficiency minded bars and restaurants. It enables bars and restaurants to intelligently measure the temperature, freshness and efficiency of each beer they serve customers. That technology combined with its experience providing inventory auditing and control systems allows bars and restaurant operations of all sizes to deploy a completely new level of quality and efficiency.
