Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington (BBBSNW) will host its 12th annual Bowl For Kids Sake (BFKS) fundraiser on April 4th and 5th at Park Bowl located at 4175 Meridian St in Bellingham. Donations collected go directly to supporting one-to-one mentoring matches.

Bowling teams are being formed by local community members, businesses and sports teams including the Bellingham Bulldogs and Bellingham Slam. Miss Washington, Janet Harding, will also be attending this year's event.

BFKS is the largest community event held by BBBSNW raising over 25% of its annual budget and incorporating hundreds of participants. As a reward teams receive free games of bowling, pizza and soda, t-shirts and are entered in multiple raffles.

"Participating in Bowl for Kids' Sake, is the funnest way to make a dramatic and positive impact on the life of a child from a single-parent home, in Northwest Washington," says Bob Packo, a 7 year Bowl for Kids' Sake participant and Big Brother.
