In "Changed: An Apocalyptic Story with Hope and a Solution" (published by iUniverse), the new book by Bill Wesenberg, readers are drawn into a first-hand description of the judgment (saved and lost), the Christian story of the end-of-days.
“Changed” takes readers into an end-of-the-world scenario, in which Wesenberg walks readers through the process of being left behind while most Christians have ascended to Heaven. He describes the physical pain and sense of loss one feels by being left in hell, but he says it is the lack of love that hurts the worst. He explores the hopelessness, regret and futility that engulfs hell. But, as he shows in the book, this is a dream, an idea. He urges readers to take their second chance, accept God into their hearts and live dedicated to His purpose.
An excerpt from “Changed”:
“Heartache, crying, pain, and misery are all around, and yet a quiet, subdued seriousness has everyone spellbound, wondering what will come next. The realization that our bodies have changed has just become apparent. You remember the Bible said that in the twinkling of an eye, when the last trumpet would sound (remember that terrible thunder’s blast?), we would be changed from corruptible to incorruptible and from mortal to immortal.”
Ultimately, Wesenberg just wants readers to believe that their eternal reward is the most important decision they will ever make. “‘Changed’ has been written, as a guide and a sojourner,” he explains. “Instead of telling a story, you experience a happening.”
