On Thursday October 21st, James Nichols Ph.D., DABCC, FACB, will be speaking on Thursday October 21st at 10:00 AM EDT on the topic of “Point-of-care testing: What is it and why does everyone want it?” Dr. Nichols is Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry at Baystate Health and Professor of Pathology at Tufts University School of Medicine. At 4:00 PM EDT that same day, Keith C. Ferdinand, M.D., FACC,FAH, will be sharing a presentation with attendees on “Strategies for the Management of Hypertension: What to Expect from JNC 8.” Dr. Ferdinand is the Adjunct Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine, and Clinical Professor, Cardiology Division at Emory University.
