We have great birthday parties here, and a private room where they are held. This is fun for all ages

The Magic Paintbrush, fast becoming one of Alameda’s favorite venues for pottery painting and glass fusion, guarantees extraordinary birthday celebrations at its arts and crafts party room.

“We have great birthday parties here, and a private room where they are held. This is fun for all ages,” Sharon Fredrikson of The Magic Paintbrush said. “We host parties from the ages of 1 to 101 and beyond. We also have toys for the kids to play with if they are done painting before the others.”

The Magic Paintbrush features party packages for every budget. Packages for parties of six or more include two hours of exclusive use of the party room, a private hostess to assist in the activities, a birthday plate that all guests can sign, guests’ names on the birthday board and a six-balloon bouquet for the birthday honoree. Each balloon thereafter costs $1.

The Blue Package costs $15 and includes cup or salad plates to paint on or a 4-by-4 piece of glass to decorate. The Pink Package is $18 and features $15 pieces of bisque choice or a 5-by-5 sheet of glass to decorate. The Green Package costs only $21 and features $18 pieces of bisque or a 6-by-6 piece of glass to decorate. The Purple Package costs $26 and comes with $22 pieces of bisque or a 7-by-7 piece of glass to decorate.

Party guests may bring food and desserts to the event, but for an extra $3.50 per guest, The Magic Paintbrush could turn a birthday package into the Supreme Party Package, allowing attendees to enjoy two slices of A-Town Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza and a soda.

For more information on birthday packages or any of The Magic Paintbrush’s products or services, call 510-250-3662, view the pottery shop on the web at http://www.themagicpaintbrushceramics.com or visit 943 Marina Village Parkway in Alameda.
