The Best You Can Get
Prairie Village, KS (PRWEB) May 19, 2011
Black Cat Fireworks hopes to light up the NASCAR tracks with its recently announced sponsorship of NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver, Tony Raines #37. “As the premier brand of fireworks in the US, Black Cat is extremely fired up about this partnership with Larry Gunselman and his Max Q Motorsports Team,” shared Chris Noland, Director of Marketing for the Fireworks sponsor.
In China, “black cats” are a symbol of “luck and good fortune” and the Black Cat tagline “The Best You Can Get” should be a real incentive for the Sprint Cup Team. “As a lifelong fan of fireworks, I am really looking forward to this explosive partnership with Black Cat Fireworks,” said Raines.
The Black Cat brand was introduced in the US in the 1940’s and is now the oldest and most highly recognized fireworks brand in the country.

Also joining this new team as an associate sponsor is Firehouse Subs, a fast casual restaurant chain with more than 430 locations and founded by firefighting brothers, Chris Sorenson and Robin Sorenson. Firehouse Subs offers oversized portions of premium hand-sliced meats and cheese, steamed to make flavors burst, then piled high with fresh produce atop a toasted sub roll. The restaurants reflect the authentic firefighting heritage of the founding family’s 200 years of firefighting service.
Black Cat Fireworks, Firehouse Subs, and Max Q Motorsports should make for a blazing collaboration in these upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup races.

About Tony Raines:
Tony Raines was born in Montana, but moved frequently since his father was in the Air Force. He settled for high school in La Porte, IN, and played football, basketball, and baseball. His fascination with cars, speed, and hot rodding tended to get him in trouble with his National Coach of the Year, Ken Scrieber. He graduated from Southwestern Michigan with a degree in aviation and while working for Miles Laboratories he earned his pilot’s license. During the 1980’s Raines worked on airplanes during the week and pursued his hobby of racing on the weekends. In 1990, he was named Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR All-Pro Series and in 1996, won the ASA Championship with 3 victories and 11 top 5 finishes. Raines was again Rookie of the Year in 1999 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. In 2005, he joined Hall of Fame Racing, a team owner by NFL’s Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach. Raines later moved to Front Row Motorsports and now drives for Max Q Motorsports. When not racing, Raines enjoys hunting, golfing, movies, and spending time with his family.
