Black Friday Sale Ads Leaked Early on GottaDeal.com

With Black Friday less than 3 weeks away, GottaDeal.com, the web's oldest and largest site dedicated to Black Friday, is providing early copies of this year's hottest ads. Newly leaked ads are appearing nearly daily on the site and thousands of Black Friday shoppers are discussing the hot items in the message boards. With the economy in peril, consumers are using the extra time with the ads available to research products and compare prices before heading out to the stores on November 28th.

Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) November 10, 2008 -- Black Friday, otherwise known as the day after Thanksgiving and largest shopping day of the year, is less than 3 weeks away and the web's largest Black Friday site, Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com, is providing consumers with an advance look at the sale ads that traditionally weren't available until Thanksgiving Day.

The site already has ads posted from retailers such as Sears, Kmart, Lowes and many more. The site's found, Brad Olson, expects the bigger ads such as Target, Walmart, Toys R Us and Best Buy to appear on the site very shortly, possibly as early as this week. "Traditionally, the most anticipated ads tend to be leaked around 2 weeks before Black Friday, which is about a week away", he said.

With the nation's economy on shaky ground, many consumers don't plan on spending as much as in previous years, which makes seeing the Black Friday ads early even more important. Visitors to Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com are able to compare prices, look up product reviews and in some cases, purchase the same item online for less than the price displayed in the actual ad.

When asked about trends and predictions for this year, Olson said he believes Black Friday is expanding to an almost 2-month long series of sales. "We're seeing sales on a weekly basis from major retailers such as Walmart and Toys R Us. There are deals otherwise only seen on Black Friday showing up weeks beforehand, and I expect that to continue even after Black Friday is over."

GottaDeal.com, which is in its 6th year of covering Black Friday, is a site that is open year-round and is dedicated to saving its visitors money in all aspects of their lives. The site features a very active message board with over 170,000 members. There are dedicated Black Friday message boards where members discuss everything from the best deals in the leaked ads to tips for staying warm when camping out in front of stores. Insider information and rumors is also posted on the message boards from store employees.

While some of the best deals will be in the stores on Black Friday, Olson says that this year more than ever, shoppers will find very attractive deals online as well. "It started getting bigger last year but this year it has exploded," he said of the online Black Friday shopping. "Most of the stores put their ad items online for ordering as early as Wednesday night before Black Friday. Shoppers can save a lot of time and effort by purchasing the items on their list online before ever leaving their home."

Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com has an updated list of the items that can be ordered online at the sale ad prices and keeps the list updated constantly right up until Black Friday itself. The site also has a shopping list feature which allows visitors to keep a running tally of all the items in the ads that they are considering purchasing. Shoppers can also subscribe to a notification service that sends them an e-mail when new leaked ads are posted.

When asked for his top 3 tips for getting the best deals this season, Olson had this to say: "First, check out our Black Friday site at GottaDeal.com to see the sale ads early. Next, research the items you are looking to buy and compare prices as you might find a better deal online. And finally, order as many items online as possible before you leave the house. It means fewer stores to go to, fewer crowds to fight and more room in your vehicle for other purchases."
