Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) February 14, 2013

Known for their dramatic drapes that meld Hollywood glamour, NYC modernism and ethnic exotica, Vogue Window Fashion hasn't just designed the window fashions for A-listers— Alani "La La" Anthony, Katie Holmes, Cyndi Lauper to name-drop a few—they have become the "it" name in designer blinds, curtains, drapes & custom window fashions in the NYC and NJ area. "Our goal when coming up with the window fashion design for our clients, is to come up with something original, a look that get you swept in it's decorative romance," says Haily Lawrence, leading decorator for the firm.

Window Treatments could either be a focal point of blend in with the room's decor depending on taste, type of room, type of decor etc.

Kitchen
Lawrence believes that kitchens need blinds that allow air flow, don't block the outside view, are easy to clean and are easy to operate. A lot of kitchen work features Hunter Douglas shutters or exquisite wood blinds that would match the cabinetry of that specific kitchen.

"The difference though between coming up with the blinds for a kitchen in NYC compared to NJ is that NYC kitchen's demand an ability to control privacy while NJ kitchens do not - but having operated louvers like in wood blinds solve the technical and decor problem in both," says Lawrence.

Master Bedroom
The globe-trotting designers of Vogue Window Fashion have found a few exclusive fabric mills that suffice their exotic tastes and have brought those textiles back to their New York City and New Jersey offices to be able to be used in the firm's exquisite curtains and drapes. Their fabric books are filled with textile standouts, Indian hand woven sateens, paned Peruvian linens, exquisite sheers woven with vertical Tibetan grass.

Bedrooms mandate curtains that could offer total privacy but could still offer exquisite elegance.

“Soothing linens are almost favorites when it comes to bedrooms," says Lawrence.

Living Room
"To calm the space that we spend so much time in, try to fill it with curtains that feature patterns and texture," says Lawrence.

Dining Room
Dining rooms, in a lot of homes might sometimes be a social salon for friends. “I've had so many clients that want the dining room window fashions to be as statement making as possible,” Lawrence says. "Explore an exotic fabric or motorized drapes to satisfy the style needs."
