Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 1, 2006
Organizers of the Blog Business Summit proudly announce that their highly anticipated third business blogging conference will take place Wednesday October 25 through Friday October 27, 2006 at the Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle, WA. The conference will explore all the critical topics relevant to the blogosphere that directly impact the business community.
Over 300 top bloggers, entrepreneurs, and executives from across the country and around the world will come together to explore the latest technologies, trends and issues in the blogosphere. The event will cover topics such as monitoring online conversations, creating podcasts, managing blogger interactions, creating blog policies and procedures, and search engine tactics.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing this event back to Seattle,” said Steve Broback, President and Founder of the Blog Business Summit and host of the conference. “We've seen in this past year how businesses are just starting to understand how the blogosphere can make or break their communications strategy. As I recently told the New York Times, 'the rush is starting.'"
The three day event will include a one-day introductory overview of the essentials of business blogging and podcasting, followed by two days of intensive exploration and discussion of how businesses are leveraging the blogosphere and working with today's most influential bloggers. Session topics include how to monitor what bloggers are saying about your business, how to start your own blog and ways to promote your blog for maximum exposure.
The event speakers include Robert Scoble, former lead blogger for Microsoft and now Vice President of Media Development at PodTech Network. Other speakers include Halley Suitt, Mary Hodder, Buzz Bruggeman, and John Furrier.
