We are excited to be attending these various global conferences as it illustrates the power and utility of our platform to address a global need for our users around the world
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2008
Artiklz (http://artiklz.com ) today announced the launch of its Alpha which captures user generated conversations across the Social Media, through interfaces with Digg, Reddit, Mixx, FriendFeed, and leading blog platforms and comment systems. Given its recent success with the private alpha, Artiklz elected to offer the alpha product several weeks earlier than in its original plan.
"We are very pleased to extend the Artiklz platform to the Web 2.0 community and beyond. Our platform represents a significant value proposition to creators and owners of intellectual property on the internet and to users looking to understand the full depth and breadth of conversations around any given topic anywhere around the world. Making it easier for them to discover, post more comments, and most importantly it enables the readership to engage in conversation," says Mozaik's managing principal and co-founder, John N. Le.
Features available in the alpha are:
- Article Widget - aggregates and displays real-time comments associated with a blog or website across multiple platforms and the leading sharing/rating/discovery services.
- "Follow This" badge - provides the ability for users to watch a blog or article for all new activities (articles and comments).
- Notification - receive instant notifications via email, SMS and instant messenger (currently, Google Talk and Jabber are available and others are coming soon).
In addition, Artiklz offers Blog owners a demo to test drive Artiklz without having to perform an install, and is available at http://blog.artiklz.com/demos . Blog owners simply need to type in their blog address to experience how the Artiklz widget will work on their blog.
Artiklz is also excited to announce the start of its Artiklz's World Tour promotion, which will be covered by video footage and made available at http://artiklz.com . The first stop will be in Seoul, Korea at Open Web Asia followed by Berlin, Germany at Web 2.0 Expo Europe, October 21-23, 2008, and ending with BLOG08 in Amsterdam, Netherlands on October 24, 2008.
"We are excited to be attending these various global conferences as it illustrates the power and utility of our platform to address a global need for our users around the world," stated Le. "International markets provide great growth potential for services built on social media, and we anticipate that with initial content partners like Digg, Reddit, Mixx, CoRank, Diigo, FriendFeed, WordPress, TypePad, LiveJournal, Vox, Movable Type, Blogger and strong global brands will deliver an effective environment for enabling the global aggregation of conversations."
Artiklz enables "Conversational Search" by Capturing User Generated Conversation Across the Social Media.
Artiklz offers a 360 degree view for blog and website owners of their comments and conversation stream, thus providing the only 2-way gateway to comments. In addition to the acquiring of comments from major blogging and commenting systems, Artiklz aggregates the various popular web sharing/rating services (Digg, Reddit, Mixx, Yahoo! Buzz, FriendFeed, Delicious, etc) comment feeds to provide a consolidated view.
The benefits to the blog or website are clear: (1) the blog/website retains the continuity of the downstream comments that are generated off of the blog/website's IP (content), and (2) other readers of the blog/website have a 360 degree view over all comments to promote conversational engagement without ever having to leave the blog or website.
Mozaik is a Web 2.0 incubator based in southern California founded by serial entrepreneur John N. Le. It is an investor in and operates Artiklz, Propzy, and Meistrz.
