AthletiCo Hosts Blood Drive in Oak Brook on October 26

Give a little of yourself this fall and donate blood

Oak Brook-based AthletiCo, a leader in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and fitness services, has teamed up with the American Red Cross to emphasize the importance of donating blood with their 4th Annual Blood Drive. It will be held on Tuesday, October 26 at the corporate office located at 709 Enterprise Drive in Oak Brook. Give blood and change a life, starting with your own.

To be eligible to donate blood you must be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds; valid identification is required and the donation process will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Remember to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating.

All donors will receive an AthletiCo appreciation gift and will be entered into a raffle to win various prizes.

Since 1991, AthletiCo has been the proud provider of rehabilitation, fitness, and performance services to many professional teams, performing arts companies, endurance programs, golf associations, volleyball clubs, high schools, colleges, and events in Chicagoland and Central Illinois. AthletiCo’s first Wisconsin location opened in Milwaukee in December 2009.

AthletiCo provides orthopedic rehabilitation including physical and occupational therapy, work rehabilitation, performing arts rehabilitation, women’s health therapy, spine control, pediatric physical therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and athletic training/sports medicine. Expanded services include performance enhancement, fitness center memberships, golf fitness, endurance, nutrition, and massage therapy.
