We’re delighted to be working alongside Jomsocial to push forward the boundaries of what social communication is. By partnering with an established brand we can rapidly expand the Blooie network and build a great platform together.

JomSocial, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Santa Clara, California, will be offering Blooie’s chat technology into its open-source private social network platform customers. The deal means members of over 160,000 online communities around the world will eventually be able to enjoy real-time conversations based on shared interests.
Blooie’s technology enables any website to host real-time conversations by pairing users together - not randomly or through similar details in theirr social graphs, but through similar interests in specific online content, websites and topics. Blooie can then analyse conversations to ensure more relevant user matches in future chats.
Mark Ryan, co-founder of Blooie said: “We’re delighted to be working alongside JomSocial to push forward the boundaries of what social communication is. By partnering with an established brand we can rapidly expand the Blooie network and build a great platform together.”
“The early steps in our work together are small and measured, however we believe this partnership will bring about a new way for users to communicate socially online.”
Blooie have also agreed to a deal that would see them integrating their technology into a third party chat plugin for Joomla and JomSocial. This will see Blooie providing for a new market of customers in the Joomla marketplace and is the first of Blooie’s enterprise integrations.
Blooie was founded in September 2011 and is an alumni of the ignite100 accelerator programme based in the UK. The company secured investment in February 2012 from Northstar Ventures and IP Group, and is due to announce a series of commercial partners in Q4 2012.
JomSocial is the number one social network and community software on the Joomla platform with an installation base of over 160,000 websites and are a rapidly expanding platform.
