Today, the Association says it works
Lees Summit, MO (Vocus) October 21, 2010
Blue Ridge Mazda, Kansas City’s oldest and most experienced Mazda dealer, is the featured dealer for the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City.
Incorporated in 1909, the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City was originally known as the Motor Car Trade Association of Kansas City. Founded by 15 original dealer-members, the organization sought to put ‘the public’s needs first.” Today, the Association says it works “to advance, educate and encourage public interest in new cars and trucks; improve public perception of new car dealers, promote and improve business conditions of the automobile industry in the Kansas City Metropolitan area; and to foster the highest standards of integrity in business practices among new car dealers.”
In putting Blue Ridge Mazda in its “Dealer Spotlight,” the Association has highlighted Blue Ridge Mazda’s commitment to quality and service. “Specializing in only new Mazdas for the past 30 years, we are committed to extremely high levels of customer satisfaction,” Blue Ridge Mazda told the Association.
Currently, Blue Ridge Mazda operates two facilities in the Kansas City area. “Our General Manager, Dara Nielson-Bock has overseen the opening of our new facility in Lee’s Summit,” Blue Ridge Mazda told the Association. “Meanwhile we retain our old location in Raytown, MO for additional service department support and collision center.”
Opening a new dealership entails substantial costs, both in terms of capital outlays, regulatory compliance, and logistical management. But for Blue Ridge Mazda, the benefit of managing these challenges is the resulting enhancement to the customer experience. That point was underscored by General Manager Dara Nielson-Bock. “Having our brand new facility in Lee’s Summit along with our additional service facility gives our customers the best Mazda ownership experience in Kansas City,” Nielson-Bock said.
Blue Ridge Mazda’s successful implementation of a completely customer centric philosophy is made evident by testimonials from satisfied customers. Posted to the dealerships Website, customer testimonials underscore the friendly experience that comes with shopping at a state-of-the-art, customer focused facility. “I appreciate the fact that there was no ‘hard sell,’” says one customer of his experience. “I have been to many dealerships that push to hard to get a sale. I have actually left dealerships and bought the same car elsewhere because of pushy salespeople. This was a pleasant experience.”
