BlueVolt (http://www.BlueVolt.com), the leading provider of online learning management systems (LMS) for manufacturing, construction and service industries, has partnered with fellow Portland-based company Giftango to enhance BlueVolt’s $BlueBucks incentive program.
$BlueBucks is a pay-for-performance system that excites and rewards learners as they successfully complete training through their company’s LMS or online university powered by BlueVolt. Proven to increase online course enrollments up to ten times, adding $BlueBucks to training ensures more learners successfully complete courses.
BlueVolt and Giftango’s partnership now gives learners the option to redeem $BlueBucks immediately for a virtual eGift card. Giftango’s eGift cards are delivered via e-mail or to a smart phone, and viewed through a secure web browser. When e-mailed, users can print eGift cards or use them online through the retailer’s website. With smart phone delivery, the learner simply shows his or her phone to the participating retailer to redeem the card.
Other benefits to the new and improved $BlueBucks program with Giftango include:
- Virtual eGift cards are delivered to the learner’s email immediately after redeeming for their retailer of choice. The Giftango solution tracks the receipt of the gift card and sends reminders to the learner if he or she has not yet viewed the gift card.
- Learners can also redeem eGift cards at participating retailers’ brick and mortar stores, which accept the printed or mobile versions of the gift card.
- A unique gift card experience allows the BlueVolt learner to re-gift the virtual card, select from numerous gift card designs, view a video provided by the merchant, and display a mobile-friendly version of the gift card on their smart phone.
eGift cards are redeemable at hundreds of merchants nationwide such as Foot Locker, Cabela's, Nike, Amazon.com and more. There’s even an option to use $BlueBucks to donate to over 150 charities. Learners may also use their $BlueBucks to pay for additional courses offered in the BlueVolt system – especially helpful for those required to complete continuing education courses to keep professional licenses current.
$BlueBucks reward the learner for successful completion of a course, so BlueVolt customers (those responsible for administering the online university and deploying online training across their company or channel) only pay for rewards that are actually earned. Customers simply add $BlueBucks to new or existing courses in their BlueVolt LMS, where learners then instantly receive their rewards after they complete courses, and customers receive a single monthly invoice for $BlueBucks delivered throughout the month. Learners enrolled in multiple online universities accumulate $BlueBucks rewards in one central account.
“We’re pleased to partner with incentives innovator Giftango to make these enhancements to our $BlueBucks program,” said Don Spear, founder, president and CEO for BlueVolt. “We are constantly looking for ways to improve our LMS and make elearning a rewarding experience for all.”
“The Giftango solution truly complements BlueVolt’s $BlueBucks incentives program, which is a phenomenal example of how integrating incentives into online training can make a big difference in participation” said Giftango Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Fletcher. “We are pleased to partner with BlueVolt to provide a host of benefits such as verified incentives delivery, a unique consumer eGift card experience and enhanced analytics for tracking success.”
