Bluff Manufacturing, Inc., a national provider of material handling and safety equipment for dock and warehouse applications, is pleased to welcome Cathy Pringle as its new Director of Marketing and Sales.
Pringle has been a successful strategic marketing and sales professional for more than 25 years. Most recently, Pringle was an executive consultant with Ascend Marketing. In that role, Pringle developed strategies and marketing analytics for multiple clients including manufacturers, retailers and telecom companies.
Prior to that, Pringle was VP Marketing and PR for Sally Beauty Company, and was also the VP of Marketing and PR for the Bombay Company.
As Chief Operating Officer of Spirit International, an international manufacturer, she directed legal, financial and administrative functions, along with marketing and sales. Pringle has also held executive positions at Jostens and PageNet.
Pringle began her marketing career at consumer goods manufacturer Rubbermaid where she developed metrics for analyzing trends that lead to record-breaking product development.

Pringle holds an MBA with honors as first in her class from Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Architectural Interiors from Northwestern University.
