Held at the Time Warner Arena in Charlotte, NC, the clinic included members of the Bobcats team who interacted with local members of the Big Brother-Big Sister organization. Clinic events included various stations which reinforced foot movement, ball-handling skills and lay-up practice. The event commenced with warm-ups and stretching led by members of the Lady Cats dance squad, while the evening concluded with a question and answer forum between members of the Bobcats team and the numerous young children attending the event.

Big Brother participant for over six years, Brandon Adcock, welcomed the group of over 150 people with a detailed account of what the Big Brother program has meant to him and his long-time little brother. Adcock, who is also the Co-Founder of Direct Digital, the health and wellness company sponsoring the event, stressed the importance of living an active lifestyle, the merits of a nutritional, well-balanced diet, and the need to provide positive role models to youth of all ages.
