Fitness company Nike has just announced that its Nike+ Running app will now be available on Android. Simultaneously, they have also announced the current app is being updated to Version 4 and assuming the new name of Nike+ Running. The powerful application allows you to track your stats during a ran, showing you the distance you have run and also comparing that distance to the distances to as many as seven of your previous runs. The app has a “shoe-tagging” device which makes this possible for a runner of all experience levels from newcomers to those who are experienced in bodybuilding. The device also tracks the wear and tear on your Nike sneakers and lets you know when it is time to purchase a new pair. The app is now available to all devices running on the Gingerbread system and above. The app has gained popularity with many avid runners who are finding that they like to integrate the advances in modern technology into their existing exercise regiments to better track their physical performance.
Thanks to modern advances in technology and science, many new resources have been made available to people to help them improve their exercise regiments and ultimately improve their physical fitness and ironpower.
